Marrow Build
Board-formed concrete on the Mendocino coast. The redesign lets the material speak, in full-resolution photography and one clean typeface.
This is a concept redesign. Marrow Build is an illustrative firm, invented to show the approach. It is not a past client and not a real business. Your site would be built around your own work, start to finish.
At a glance
The same firm. One of these is losing them the work.

- 1
Six typefaces on one screen
The kicker, the headline, the sub, and the buttons use six different fonts. None of them is theirs.
- 2
Reviews with no name
“Happy Homeowner, Mendocino.” No name, no project, no way to tell it isn’t invented.
- 3
Photos run through an upscaler
Every image was pushed through an AI upscaler. Edges smear; the concrete reads like plastic.
What changed
Three decisions, and nothing more than needed.
- 01
The original photography, at full resolution. The upscaler is gone.
- 02
One typeface, set with care. The material does the talking.
- 03
Real reviews - named, dated, and tied to the project they praise.
